Gameplay Profile:
These fleet fighters are a staple of hangars all over the Force. Their solid design and basic AI give them a maneuverability and responsiveness vital for its role in interception and dogfighting other small craft. Another vital asset to its dogfighting capability is its payload of 8 multi-role, kinetic penetrator missiles. In addition to its expendable payload, it has a pair of high-energy transfer lasers, much like those used for point defense turrets on Coalition fleet ships. While of little threat to larger vessels, these point weapons make swift work of strike craft and missiles alike. Due to its mix of expendable and permanent weapons, it can be quite an asset in a CSP.
Another nice quality of these little craft is their standard issue stealth plating. This makes them quite difficult to find, which is an excellent psychological weapon for those confronted by a Coalition carrier.
