Unit Roles
From SSNTWiki
[edit] Comments
Each unit in Frontier is assigned one or more roles. These roles dictate the task the unit performs in the game. They also, to a less extend, dictate the weakness of the unit. Often, units counter other units that have specific roles.
If Unit A counter Unit B's Role, but B does not counter A's role, then it's safe to say A is at least decent against B. if A counter B's role and Vise versa, it usually depend on specific match up. As a general rule - the more specialized unit wins, but will be exhausted / Depleted.
A list of examples for secondary roles identifies certain role mixtures with a title.
